Following on from the popular Type 2 Split Screen and Bay Window vans, the Volkswagen T3 has enjoyed a resurgence in popularity in recent years. Retaining the same square shape and rear engine layout of its predecessors, while incorporating several notable improvements, such as water cooling and diesel options, the T3 remains a popular base for motorhome conversions.
This 1984 example is just that: a T3 converted into a motorhome with a 1.6-litre diesel engine.
