The Appeal
Proof that Land Rover’s classic 4x4 is the do-anything as well as the go-anywhere vehicle of choice is this 1987 Ambulance. In the service of Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) until it arrived in the UK in 2021, it is a remarkable bespoke-build Land Rover that retains its original military specification.
The condition is also impressive, helped along by the Singapore climate. The six digit odometer shows just 8,087 kms (5,025 miles), which the vendor believes to be genuine. He acquired it from the specialist Chelsea Truck Company in 2021 and has covered just 300 miles in the intervening time. It comes to market with a recent full service and lengthy, advisory-free MOT valid to August 2026.
