The Appeal
While the G Wagon has now evolved to become a luxury SUV, veritably overflowing with plush leather and and the latest computer tech, the model's origins are by way of contrast, couldn't be more different. Originally developed as a formidable military vehicle in cooperation with Steyr Daimler Puch in Graz, Austria, the G Wagon was found to be among the most capable 4x4s ever made.
Here we have one of the original military examples, very possibly the lowest mileage RHD Mercedes-Benz G Wagon Wolf in existence. Imported from Singapore after thirty years in hangar storage, this G Wagon has covered a mere 2,500 kilometres, a figure warranted by Mercedes-Benz themselves.
Now imported to the UK, Fully serviced and converted from tropical specification to British climate requirements, it offers a rare opportunity to own a piece of military history. With recent upgrades including a new hood, Hella driving lights, and a Blaupunkt DAB/CD system, this G Wagon is ready to go.
The vendor remarks:
"Be seen in a great run-around and put a smile back on your face. Or, start with a solid base to create your dream G Wagon, for a fraction of the cost new."image.png2.86 MB
