The S124 E-Class estate is still regarded as among the greatest Mercedes-Benz load-luggers. The silky M104 straight-six, robust build quality, and seven-seat versatility make it a genuinely usable classic, and Japanese-market examples are particularly sought after for their typically careful maintenance and for having spent their lives away from salted winter roads.
This E320 was imported into the UK in 2015 and comes with a generous specification, including full grey leather, heated and electric front seats, an electric sunroof, cruise control, an electrically adjustable wood-and-leather steering wheel, and a seven-seat configuration with a soft-close tailgate.
It has been garage-stored during the current ownership with the underbody Lanoguard treated annually, and the vendor describes it as very smooth and quiet to drive, having completed several long trips in total comfort. A major service and fault rectification were carried out by Colin Fearns' Mercedes specialist in Richmond in 2019, and subsequent maintenance has included a gearbox oil and filter change, air conditioning service, new springs with four-wheel alignment, and, most recently, a water pump replacement.
It is offered with a history file containing Japanese service sheets, a UK MOT record, specialist invoices, and documentation for both odometer unit replacements.
