In 1996, the Jaguar XJS reached its final year of production. The car had gained a strong following, with its distinctive styling and attractive performance having established it as a superb, popular grand tourer - a fitting continuation of Jaguar’s ever-enduring reputation.

Seats in good order with some patina to the bolsters, but no rips or tears
Veneers in good order with no chips or cracks we can discern
Original period instruments in good order with no reported faults
Wood-trimmed steering wheel and gearstick knob in excellent order
Original period cassette player still in situ and reportedly in working order
Carpets are free of rips and tears, though could do with a clean
Boot is clean and well-presented, stowing a spare wheel and tool kit

Paint is in good order, with minor wear around the arches and sills
Headlight lenses are clean and free of chips or fractures
Chromework is brightly presented with very light patina
Arches are clean and well kept
Wheels show some signs of wear but still present brightly
Full set of new Zeta Alventi tyres
Underneath, the car appears to be in good order with no clear signs of corrosion
