The Appeal
The C5-generation Corvette is the kind of car European enthusiasts had been hoping Chevrolet would build for decades. Clever engineering delivers light weight and near-perfect balance, and makes the C5 the equal of more locally developed sports cars. And then there’s that LS1 V8…
Here is a really tidy example of the C5, one that shows just 12,000 miles from. We can’t warrant that figure but the vendor tells us that it is correct. The car was imported to the UK by the previous keeper in 2021 and has been well maintained since. The vendor acquired it in late 2025, shortly after the last service. Other recent work includes new tyres and brake fluid change.
The silver paintwork and grey leather present very well. The car is factory standard save for a ZR1 rear spoiler and sonorous Billy Boat PRT exhaust. The vendor is only selling because he has decided to trim down his collection. With MOT to May 2027 containing no advisories, this tasty slice of Kentucky iron looks ready to go.
The vendor says:
“The car starts and runs perfectly, everything is stock apart from the exhaust. It is amazing to drive and has a very raw American muscle feel to it. Sad sale due to having too many cars.”
