Introduced in 1989 as a replacement for the iconic R107 roadster, the R129 carried on the legacy of its predecessor with a stylish interior, simple - yet impressive - styling and time-honoured mechanical prowess. • Purchase in 2004 from Mercedes-Benz Tooting as the third owner
• The V5 of the vehicle was recently placed in vendor's mother's name, accounting for the 4 total owners of the car
• In this ownership since March 2023
• Current MOT valid until August 2024
• Currently indicates 76,297 miles which is believed to be authentic
• Regularly serviced throughout its lifetime, with detailed records provided
• Vehicle largely serviced at Riverside Motors in Riverhead in Kent

The Condition

• Bodywork in good order with no dents or dings
• Various imperfections in the paintwork
• We note a small patch of bubbling in front of the front wheel arch on the driver's side
• Various nicks in the paintwork along the edge of the driver's door, which have oxidised
• There are 3 stone chips in the windscreen of the vehicle 
• The bonnet insulation has fallen apart and been removed
• There is a crack in the plastic housing of the rear light on the passenger side
• Some corrosion on the tip of the exhaust and discolouration on other areas
• Additional drill holes and one screw is missing from the rear number plate
• Tyres are 10 years old and will soon be due for replacement
• Black soft top is free of rips and tears
• Interior is highly original 
• Instruments are clean 
• Some plastic switches have broken
• Wood veneers in good order
• When the car was most recently driven (5/11/23) there was a puff of smoke from the central heating vents
  • It is unclear if the heating is now fully working from that vent but is working elsewhere 
• Worn leather on the seat bolsters and door handles from usage
• Minor discolouration of the dash/plastics
• Headlining is dropping on the driver's side
