The Boxster was Porsche’s first road vehicle to be designed specifically to be a roadster since the 550 Spyder. This particular model was actually one of the cars built in Finland, identified via the letter “U” as the 11th character of the VIN number. This is a particularly sought after specification being Speed yellow from the factory and featuring a 6 speed manual gearbox and the largest engine available, the 3.2L. Included are several factory options that further complete the high specification of this car making it stand out from most Boxsters available today.

The vendor has owned the vehicle for the past 7 years, and has clearly spared no expense in making sure this car is perfectly mechanically maintained. Previous owners have had some bodywork carried out in previous years.

The interior of this car is everything you would expect from a Porsche, a classy comfortable area to enjoy the driving experience. A few special details are the optional extra painted roll hoops and centre console, and has also had the door handle surround matched to the exterior Speed yellow as well.

The passenger side door handle surround paint has suffered some kind of reaction and is clearly blemished, but this would be easily rectified. The interior is very well looked after and clean, with the leather seats being in great condition, despite being a little bit saggy from the 116287 miles of use. All the plastics and upholstery is in excellent condition, even in the front cargo area. Overall a very nice interior, very well kept with only a few signs of use and some wear and tear to be expected from a car of this mileage.

The exterior is finished in a striking bright Speed Yellow from the factory, setting this apart from the crowd as not many Boxsters were finished in Speed Yellow.
 
 The wheels are all in excellent condition and have been fully refurbished in the last year and are shod with matching Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres.
 
 At some point before the vendor’s ownership the driver’s side of the car has been repainted, and this is visible with the paint being newer than the other side of the car. Also a bad repair has been carried out to the right rear arch which could do with attention. This would be a very straightforward job for a good bodyshop and would really take this car to the next level. The soft top is brand new and also included is a hard top.

A small quirk of the car is that the alarm can sometimes go off when starting the car, this does not affect the operation of the car and it locks/ unlocks/starts without any issues from the alarm.
