The Appeal
The Defender continues to be one of the most prized off-roaders ever built, and it's for good reason. These 4x4s are synonymous with rural life, and continue to valiantly prove their worth in just about any and every environment - that exceptional missing link between daily driver and heavy-duty machinery.
Get a long wheelbase example, and you're really cooking with gas - but the County trim takes it one step forward. This trim offered the best spec available in the car's heyday, and makes this an equally comfortable family car. All of that goods space certainly doesn't go amiss either, and it's clear this fine example has had plenty of experience with its long-term owner.
Plenty has been invested, and it's garnered a certain working patina, but this Defender is still a fine workhorse that's ready and waiting to go - with plenty of opportunity for the lucky new keeper to update and improve it if they so wish.
