The Appeal
The Boxster was a revelation, a mid-engined alternative to the 911 that enthralled buyers. The arrival of the simply named S perfected the package, finally giving the car the power to match the dynamics.
Finished in stand-out yellow, this low mileage S has clearly been looked after. The mileage is low for the year and there are few indications of the passage of 23 years since it left the factory. It is fitted with the firm’s Tiptronic box, an early precursor of the now common sequential automatic gearbox fitted to modern sports cars. It offers engaging sporting or more relaxed ‘GT’ style progress.
The vendor acquired the car a couple of years ago and has not cut corners on investment. It comes to market fresh from a long list of work to the suspension and other areas by marque specialist ADH Porsche. Earlier work includes the all-important IMS/RMS bearings.
The Boxster S is really all the two seater sports car you could ever need. With that versatile gearbox, long MOT and eye-catching colour scheme, this one looks ready for summer motoring.
The vendor says:
"Mechanically this car is fantastic. It has a stack of bills right up to the present day. Full Service History stamped to 2017. Invoices to prove 2019 & 2023. Happy to have it serviced prior to collection
"A fantastic example of a Boxster S that has been well loved and cherished. It has had many thousands lavished on it in the last two year and is waiting for a new owner to enjoy."image.png4.01 MB
