The Appeal
Harley Davidson are the pinnacle of big, luxury motorcycles and the Electraglide CVO is possibly the best of this generation. Filled with lots of tech and an iconic paint job this bike will look amazing sitting within your collection.
This bike in particular is extremely special, from new it has had 1 owner and only covered 495 miles. Although it’s not covered more than 500 miles, it has had several oil services and still retains a lot of its original literature some of which are still in the packaging.

The History and Paperwork

As this Harley has only covered 495 miles from new and is kept in a garage when not in use, you can imagine that the overall condition will be amazing. When you set eyes upon the bike, you will not be disappointed, it has an amazing street presence and looks incredibly comfortable to get on and take for a cruise.
If we start by looking at the area where you will spend most of your time, the cockpit, we can see that from the outset it is very clean indeed. The seat looks like it will cradle you very comfortably, with extra back support you will get off of this bike as fresh as a daisy. If you have a companion for your adventures, then they too will be cradled by the large leather pillion seat that even has built in speakers.
Speaking of speakers, this bike is filled with tech that you would expect to find on a car, not a bike. The rider will benefit from heated grips, satellite navigation, cruise control, heated seats, and an intercom system so you can speak to your passenger with ease. With so few miles completed, all of these systems still work as they should.
As you ride along all of your vital riding information is displayed clearly thanks to the bank of analogue dials. These will provide you with information that relates to your, air temperature, oil pressure, battery voltage, and of course your speed. These should be easy to read as you cruise down the ‘highway’ on a long trip.
If we now take a step back from the bike, we can take in the sheer beauty that is the Electraglide CVO. Finished in a special two-tone paint job and dripping with chrome everyone will know that you have arrived. Unsurprisingly the condition of the outer panels and chrome are in amazing condition. Let’s not forget that they have not had to experience the road conditions that somewhat affect chrome.
If you have owned bikes in the past, you may know that storage can sometimes be a bit limited. Thankfully, this bike is filled with solutions to this problem. You will see, towards the rear, three large pannier boxes. You could easily get a few shopping bags in there, or should you wish to tour you may be able to get a couple of soft bags in them.
It may be a big bike, but with all of the rider aids, it shouldn’t be that difficult to get straight on and cruise along happily down the road.
Thanks to the lack of miles this bike has completed over the past 18 years, it is now presented in amazing condition for you. Wherever you wish to display or store this example, it will look incredible sitting there.
The Mechanics

Although the exterior and cockpit of this bike were special, it is what sits in between your legs that is the most special part. The thumping great 1.8l V-Twin provides oodles of power and torque that make for one great bike to ride.
This is no normal Electraglide, this is a CVO version. As such the engine has been breathed on slightly by Harley Davidson’s tuning arm, Screaming Eagles, this means that the bike has more power and is even better at cruising along the long and boring motorways.
If the bike wasn’t already rare and sort after enough, the lack of miles on the odometer should surely pique your curiosity. Although the current owner has used the bike sparingly it has already had a few oil changes, several inspections, and a few MOTs. The latter is important to show that this mileage is genuine.
On the day of the photos, we wheeled the bike out of its dry storage area, and it fired into life straightaway on the button. It sat there idling nicely producing its characteristic and earth pounding deep rumble.
As soon as you swing your leg over this bike you know that you are riding something special. You will be able to create many happy memories long into the future.
Not only is this bike a limited build, but it also has extremely low mileage on the clock. This is an extremely rare combination to come across so why not make it your own, it’ll be a talking point that’s for sure.
This bike has been looked after well by the current owner, the baton now passes to you. If you treat it well, it will treat you to some of the best and most memorable rides of your life.
