The Appeal
The X-Type was dubbed by Autocar at its launch as Jaguar’s ‘most important car ever’ as they attempted to enter the compact executive saloon market that had been dominated by BMW’s 3 Series and the C-Class of Mercedes. Executed with aplomb, the car was a roaring success and one of the best selling Jaguar's ever
