The Appeal
Since 1968, the Jaguar XJ has proudly served as the flagship model for this beloved British car manufacturer. Throughout the years, it has consistently delivered cutting-edge technology, luxurious refinements, and captivating body designs to clients worldwide.
In 2003, the XJ X350 model was introduced, bringing Jaguar up to date with new innovations and state-of-the-art construction methods. The new aluminium body shell was reported to be a substantial 12% lighter compared to a steel-bodied car. A facelifted version of the X350 model, known as the X358, was released in 2007. It retained the all-aluminium body, offered with various engine options, and featured elegant Italian leather hides. This new iteration shared many similarities with its pre-facelifted counterparts. However, with production set to conclude in 2009, Jaguar introduced subtle exterior and interior changes to entice buyers and maintain their loyalty.
This superb, low-mileage and well-spec'd example is one of the last models produced in 2009 and is the XJ8 Portfolio edition, produced in very limited numbers, making it a desirable choice for any Jaguar XJ fan. Showing just 56,921 miles, the Celestial Blue Pearl paintwork is in excellent condition, as is the full Navy leather interior. The car is a Japanese re-import that arrived in the UK in 2023, meaning it hasn't been exposed to road salt, ensuring the underside is in excellent condition.
