Volkswagen’s Transporter seems tailor-made for camper van duties. It can trace its lineage back to the original microbus and still delivers the mix of quality and reliability that takes the risk out of full-family holiday excursions.

This attractive dark blue metallic T5 Highline LWB was converted by well-regarded specialist Eclipse Custom Campers in 2016, soon after the vendor acquired it from the first keeper. The work has been executed to a high standard, and the specification is equally impressive. We are told it can be quickly and easily converted from day to camping mode. Thanks to the low mileage and care of its single keeper during that time, it remains in very good order.
