The word ‘caravan’ doesn’t really do this piece of equipment justice. What then; travel trailer, touring trailer? Whatever you decide to call it, the Puma offers its occupants the level of amenities, space and comfort one would more normally associate with a static caravan. It will sleep five in comfort – and up to ten adequately, while offering both interior and exterior cooking facilities, as well as a soft-walled 21ft ‘vacation room’ that can be added onto the side.

  

The well-appointed and nicely executed interior offers bunks at the rear and a transverse ‘queen-sized’ double bed up front. Between these two compartments there is ample living space with a sofa and dining suite, both of which can be converted into further sleeping areas. 

The well-appointed (gas) kitchen has a shower room adjacent and a full size American style refrigerator with freezer section. All fixtures and fitting are in good condition. The Trailer will be thoroughly cleaned and valeted before the sale. 

There are three flat screen tvs with satellite/terrestrial linkup and a DVD players. There are several sound systems, as well as step-up/down transformers/hook-up so that guests may bring there own electrical devices. 

Throughout the interior there is underfloor heating. For piece of mind, there are also fire extinguishers and smoke and carbon monoxide alarms present.

Whatever you can think to bring on a ‘camping’ holiday, the Puma most likely has the facility to accommodate it.

The aluminium bodywork of the trailer looks to be in excellent condition, as does the under side of the structure. The ’van boasts the 2017 spec ‘augmented’ front with tough chequeplate panels. The wheels are shod with the correct spec trailer tyres, all of which are new.  

It’s worth noting that all three electric slide-out slide sections are on the same side, making it easier to make full use of allotted camp site space. All operate smoothly, sliding out without creaks or shudders. The Puma comes with a full lengthy awning as well as a 21ft soft-sided ‘vacation room’ which can be attached to the side, it is also wired for power, sound and vision. At the rear, there is a further outdoor kitchen facility, complete with a second microwave oven, it's own fridge, plumbed in sink, induction hob and gas BBQ no less. 

As well as the usual water and power hook-up facilities (to suit UK, EU and American systems), the Puma is also offered with a new 5.5Kw (propane powered) generator. If the trailer is to be sited for longer periods, it also comes complete with manufacturer supplied supports for the slide outs, trailer frame and steps.

 

As a touring set up, Puma trailer has been extremely well sorted. Owned as it is by someone with long experience in heavy haulage, all its lights and towing aspects are correct and thoroughly checked for both the UK and Europe. And as for the holidaying/living experience, whatever questions you ask of the trailer most probably have a well-sorted answer built in or supplied. 

Admittedly, this rig isn’t for the faint-hearted – and you will know if you are the one to pilot it. But if you are that one, it offers capabilities and reach – as well as just plain hell yeah fun – second to none.
