Hailing from Aston Martin’s specialist vehicle division, “Q by Aston Martin”, the 007 edition Vantage has been excellently crafted as a celebration of the Bond franchise’s long running partnership with the brand and the release of the most recent Bond film “No Time To Die”.
The 007 edition was limited to just 100 units, all of which boast a wonderful collection of Bond related detailing and unique styling cues, including specialist trim pieces, graphics and of course a bespoke set of tailgate mounted skis.

From within the interior one is consistently reminded that they are not just in a run of the mill standard Vantage, rather an exclusive 1 of 100 rarity. Courtesy of a wonderful selection of 007 badging and trim pieces elegantly installed around the cabin, including a bespoke gearstick surround, unique to the 7 speed manual versions of the car.
The bulk of the interior space comes beautifully upholstered in swathes of deep obsidian black leather, a marvellous compliment to the cumberland grey exterior panels. The upholstery here really is a testament to quality British craftsmanship, and is of a simply marvellous quality, but then what else would one expect from a bespoke Aston Martin.
Two sculpted leather sports seats take precedence within the cabin, embossed with 007 logos and fitted with carbon fibre backings, these are of a wonderful quality and yet again help to emphasise that you aren’t in just any Aston Martin.
Opening the centre console, one is presented with a custom made plate depicting a wonderful selection of artwork referencing technology found on famous Bond cars throughout the years, and then pulling down the sun visor reveals yet another feature for the Bond aficionados, embroidered radio station frequency – 96.60 (FM) – which was the Russian police frequency Bond used to aid his escape in the movie “The Living Daylights”.
Even in its standard guise the current generation of Aston Martin Vantage is a very handsome car, arguably one of the best looking on the market, but then again, that is what Aston Martin does better than anyone, create effortlessly beautiful, elegant sports cars. The 007 Vantage takes those core Aston Martin styling values, and turns them right the way up to 11.
Starting right at the front end of the car, AM enthusiasts will note an altered front grille from the standard model. For the 007 models, a special mesh and chrome grille takes the place of the normal factory panel as a wonderful nod to the original V8 Vantage which made its first Bond appearance in The Living Daylights. To continue the bolder styling pattern, a more aggressive rear valance which along with the side skirts have been fitted with a set of striped yellow decals, a reference to the movie’s rocket hazard warning system.
Of course the stand out piece of this particular example, sits elegantly on the rear tailgate glass. The skis. Installed as part of the “Faction” package and yet another nod to that infamous movie Vantage, these skis and custom suction mount come in a matching yellow livery and really do look absolutely wonderful perched on the rear of the car. If one wishes to drive the car without the skis, the entire mounting system can be removed as it is suction mounted rather than directly fixed into the car’s bodywork.
The car itself, rather unsurprisingly given its incredibly low double digit mileage, presents impeccably and boasts excellent quality paintwork, decals and trim all round. At ground level, we find four beautiful 20” silver Aston Martin alloy wheels, all of which are of a similarly brilliant standard.

Under the Aston’s vast bonnet resides a simply glorious V8 engine. Developed by Mercedes, the 4 litre unit is powerful, reliable and most importantly provides one of the finest V8 soundtracks of the modern automotive era. The engine in this particular example, having covered such minimal mileage is of a brilliant quality and presents as such, in great, clean shape.
What makes this particular 007 Vantage that little bit more special, comes in the form of the gearbox, as the car comes equipped with an excellent 7 speed manual transmission. Arguably the far more desirable of the gearbox options and provides a crisp quality gear change, clearly tailored towards 007 owners who thoroughly enjoy driving.
