The Appeal
To many, the Jeep Grand Wagoneer stands as the original luxury SUV, pioneering the blend of rugged capability with genuine refinement long before the segment became mainstream. This 1987 example represents the model in its most developed form, featuring the desirable combination of classic wood-grain exterior trim and a spacious, comfortable interior that defined these vehicles as status symbols in their day.
What makes this 1987 Grand Wagoneer especially noteworthy is its comprehensive restoration work and thoughtful upgrades. Imported to Poland in 2007, it has benefited from a full body and paint restoration, along with an engine rebuild that included conversion to modern electronic fuel injection—enhancing reliability while maintaining the vehicle's classic character. As part of a curated collection of American automobiles near Warsaw, this Jeep has received the care and attention needed to keep these increasingly collectable vehicles in proper working order.
