The Appeal
RAUH-Welt Begriff needs little introduction among Porsche enthusiasts. Each RWB build is a singular creation, hand-crafted by the legendary Akira Nakai, who travels the world to personally transform 911s into his unmistakable wide-body machines. With only a handful of UK-based examples in existence, the opportunity to acquire one is exceptionally rare.
This Porsche 993, christened 'Fuji' by Nakai-san, is the fifth RWB build completed in the United Kingdom. The transformation began with a comprehensive strip-down: the shell was ice blasted inside and out before the steel roof was removed and replaced with a carbon skin. A weld-in roll cage was fitted, and the car received Nakai's signature wide-body kit with its wings and arches, all finished in Porsche's Paint to Sample Amethyst Metallic and protected with full PPF.
The interior is equally considered. New Recaro Pole Position seats, a custom one-off lower dashboard, and a bespoke centre console were installed, all trimmed in two-tone Alcantara with yellow stitching to complement the yellow clock faces and billet foot rests. A CAE replacement gear shifter and Momo quick-release steering wheel complete the cockpit. Mechanically, the car benefits from a custom stainless steel exhaust system and Airlift suspension with a dedicated boot build, while Morimoto LED rear lamps and smoked LED headlamps have been fitted.
For collectors and enthusiasts seeking one of Nakai-san's rare UK creations, 'Fuji' represents an opportunity to own a truly individual RWB 993.
