The Appeal
The 987-generation Boxster S paired a sonorous 3.2-litre flat-six with a mid-engined chassis that many regard as one of the finest driver's cars of its era. Fitted here with the six-speed manual gearbox, this is a specification that enthusiasts actively seek out.
Finished in Midnight Blue Metallic over an Ocean Blue leather interior with a Metropole Blue hood, this example sits on the Sports Design 19" "lobster claw" wheels and benefits from a Bose surround sound system. In current ownership since December 2020, it has been garage-kept throughout and SORN over the winter months.
The service history is predominantly with MLR Independent Porsche Specialists in Stoke-on-Trent. A major service in 2021 saw extensive suspension and braking work carried out using Porsche OEM parts, while the most recent service in March 2026 included new rear coil springs, a battery, and fresh brake fluid. The current owner has also made several enhancements, including a GT exhaust, refurbished headlights, a replacement head unit, and a Smart Top control unit.
