The Appeal

The Bimota YB9SRI is one of the more fascinating creations from the celebrated Rimini-based manufacturer. Pairing Bimota's renowned chassis engineering with the proven Yamaha Thundercat 600cc liquid-cooled four-cylinder engine, the YB9SRI delivered a blend of Italian craftsmanship and Japanese mechanical dependability. With production numbers always limited, any Bimota is a genuinely rare machine, and the YB9SRI is no exception.

This 1998 example, finished in striking Giallo, has resided in a private collection for approximately five years. The electronic fuel injection was converted to carburettors some years ago: a well-documented modification among Bimota owners to address known reliability shortcomings with the original system, and the original injection components and airbox are included for those wishing to revert. A spare engine is also part of the package.

The motorcycle will require recommissioning and an inspection before returning to the road, but it comes with Italian documents in order, ready for a new oner.
