The Appeal

For over two decades, the Defender held its own as one of the world's most versatile workhorse cars - and with all manner of body styles, there's one for practically every application. We'd argue that one of the finest is this: the 110 Pickup. Genuine off-road ability, a large open loadbed and that oh-so-rugged engineering make for one of the finest all-purpose trucks of all time.

This 1998 example has been the subject of a no-expense-spared restoration by Land Rover specialists, completed in November 2024 with over £55,000 invested. The work encompassed a bare metal respray, a full engine rebuild, and a conversion from manual to automatic transmission. The specification has been significantly enhanced, with bespoke Lucari tan leather trim, air conditioning, heated seats, and a host of other upgrades.

With only approximately 1,000 miles covered since the restoration was completed, this Defender presents in fresh condition throughout. It comes to market with a current MOT and a comprehensive file of invoices documenting the extensive work carried out, and is now ready and waiting for its lucky new keeper.
