Mercedes 280 SE 1979
Finnish museum registered.
It was purchased in 1986 by the current owner whilst living in Brussels, the meter reading then was 160, 000km and currently showing 297, 524km. To the owner’s knowledge, it was originally sold new in Germany.
The car has always been kept in a warm garage, it has also only been used in the summer and never in the winter months. It has not been involved in any accidents, also no major renovation works have been carried out.
It has been rust protected and always maintained when required, never failed an inspection (MOT/ TUV) and last inspection was on 15. 5. 2019. Inspection is every two years in Finland for a museum registered vehicle.
On 31. 05. 19 the transmission oil and filter were changed, also brake fluid. Engine oil was changed on 06. 06. 20.
Disadvantages: The alarm system sometimes alarms itself, we have not used it due to this. The central locking is a bit sticky due to low usage, we lock the car by manually pressing the buttons as required.
