Here is a pristine 1975 Mercedes-Benz 350 SL, a true gem originally delivered by Mercedes Vicenza in Italy, where it stayed for more than 40 years. This vintage beauty remains in its original and untouched state, boasting an exceptionally low mileage of just 29, 500 kilometres. Acquired five years ago by its current Belgian owner, this convertible saloon exudes elegance and charm.
Adorned in a tasteful metallic taupe paint, the exterior is complemented by a tan interior with retro fabrics on the seats and a beautiful chocolate brown soft top.
The classic lines and the well-proportioned silhouette of the 350 SL bring us back to an iconic era in the German automotive design.
The manual transmission adds an extra layer of uniqueness to this Mercedes 350 SL, making it a sought-after model among enthusiasts.
Included with this example are the original books and complete service book but also the assorted hardtop, a rare option that speaks to the car’s exclusivity. Such a feature was considered a luxury due to its substantial cost, constituting 10% of the total price of the car during its original purchase.
Meticulously maintained and used on special occasions only, this 1975 Mercedes 350 SL is in exceptional condition and has preserved its authenticity. It still retains the original Becker autoradio. It could be for sure, a good addition to a car collection.
But also tempting for those who are looking for the perfect car to participate to classic car rallies thanks to the reliability of its German mechanics…
