The Appeal
The Giulietta was the star of Alfa's "small car, big performance" philosophy of the late 1950s, and completely revolutionised the company's position in the wider market. The sales exceeded what the (still fairly small) marque was capable of, and pushed them into large-scale manufacturing for the first time. Nowadays, they're a definitive Italian classic - particularly in the case of the much-loved Sprint Veloce. These sleek little fastbacks came with an uprated engine, fed by Weber carburettors and producing 96bhp - the fastest of the mainstream production Giuliettas.
This particular 101-Series example, bodied by Carrozzeria Bertone, is a genuine Sprint Veloce variant confirmed by Alfa Romeo's own historic document centre. Highly prized by Alfa Romeo connoisseurs, this 1961 example has been professionally restored to its original Bianco Gardenia colour and presents in very good condition. Accompanied by an Italian registration and documented history from new, this is a fine example that's ready and waiting for its new owner.
