The Appeal
The Fulvia was a superb competition car, especially on tight circuits, hill climbs and, of course, the rally stage. A free-revving V4 engine sat over the driven front wheels made for excellent traction while the exceedingly lightweight construction ensured handling was sublime. Today, as in period, enthusiasts covet the 1600 HF - the most powerful engine ever fitted.
The vendor informs us this is one of the mere 3,690 1600 HFs ever made. These cars are highly sought after for historic motorsport and indeed this example has been uprated with a rally-ready roll cage, Recaro seats, harnesses and a long-range aluminium fuel tank.
