The Appeal
This V12 Jaguar E-Type Series 3 was the final development of one of the most famous and desirable sports cars ever made. This Series 3 model represents the evolution of the E-Type into its final form as an exceptional, high-speed GT car.
Earlier Series 1 and 2 six-cylinder cars can sometimes represent a bit of a “work out” for the driver. In comparison, this V12 car benefits from the creature comforts of the later specification: power steering, automatic transmission and more interior space thanks to the longer wheelbase of the Series 3 cars.
This particular example is especially handsome, having been refinished many years ago in silver with a black interior. Originally delivered to South Africa, the dry climate has helped to preserve the car in superb condition.
If you’re looking for a tidy, presentable but usable example of one of the most accomplished and stylish GT cars ever made, then look no further. The grand finale of one of the most iconic sports cars ever made.
The vendor says:
“I have owned three V12 E-Type and this is a truly wonderful example, it drives beautifully and although limited history, an inspection shows how well it has been maintained”.
