The Appeal
There are usually several Series Land Rovers on the market at any one time, but we'll wager you won't find another quite like this one. This 'Maltese Cross' late Series IIA 88" has undergone a comprehensive restoration, as the photographs show, which included notable variations from the standard.
Starting from the ground up, the chassis has been restored and overpainted in white: a unique finish you won't find on other Land Rovers. The axles have been painted white too, as have the wheels, bodywork, and even interior features like the levers for the handbrake, gears, and transfer box. Uprated parabolic springs have been fitted, as has a rather snazzy canvas tilt in classic sand. A new 'Deluxe' interior has been fitted, in aftermarket tan vinyl.
Offered with an advisory-free MOT until July 2026, this thoroughly restored example is sure to turn heads, even amidst a gathering of other Land Rovers.image.png1.31 MB
