The Appeal
We know the popularity of modifying your T2, but here’s a timely reminder of just how appealing a standard van can look. Particularly when it is as well kept as this lovely 1973 example with its fetchign blue and white colour scheme.
It is a genuine Westfalia conversion and retains its original camper features, all in surprisingly good condition considering its age and practical nature. The van was restored around 12 years ago and it is a testament to its long term current keeper that it continue to present so well. It is said to be entirely standard, including the 1.6L engine.
The vendor has entrusted the annual servicing and maintenance regime to the same local specialist. This is indicative of his fastidious approach that it has been subject to an annual MOT despite this no longer being a legal requirement. The current test runs to February 2026 with no advisories.
This lovely van is only available because the seller has decided to trim down his collection. It looks fantastic and offers a great opportunity for the buyer.
