The Condition

Overall bodywork appears in smart condition for its age
Tiny paint chip on the roof (not down to metal)
Headlight wipers not connected
Front near-side wing side indicator bulb cover slightly chipped at edges, but light works
Front yellow fog lights - near-side one needs better fixture
Tailgate handle has a few blisters on the chrome
5 wheels and tyres look in very good order
Wheels are not original but are genuine Volvo alloys appropriate for this vehicle
Removal of rust from rear of sills and rear inner arches, treated with KURERUST and underseal
Application of LANOGUARD to the underside of the vehicle
Interior in very good condition
Very clean with upholstery that presents well
Driver's seat recently repaired
Headlining shows no signs of smoking
Dashboard looks smart
All switches and dials on the instrument panel work, apart from the heated rear window and the drivers seat heating which the owner has not needed to use so cannot be verified
All steering column controls work
Rheostat and backlighting to dials not working (not fixed due to difficulty removing panel and risk of breaking odometer seal)
Cigar lighter removed, replaced with a connection for satnav etc
Discreet USB port near bottom left side of radio
Radio not original
Electric door mirrors operated by toggles at base of the handbrake
Third row of rear-facing seats with 3-point seatbelts (not in use)
Rear seats can be easily erected and folded down for flat boot space
