The Appeal
The 412 evolved a Pininfarina shape that was so radical for a Ferrari that it split opinion when it was new. Not so now. These crisply-styled GTs are one of the firm’s most distinctive and desirable V12 2+2s and the 412 is arguably the best of them.
These final cars got a larger 5L V12, more power and neatly titivated styling including body colour bumpers and a raised rear deck that provides a deeper boot. Just 306 left the factory with the automatic gearbox and, as a RHD model, this one is even rarer still.
It looks magnificent in Blue Chiaro with Crema leather. The effect is partly due to a glass-out respray in 2023 and recent re-Connolising of the beautifully detailed interior. The other part of the condition story is the exceptionally low mileage of under 32,000 miles, which is documented in the extensive history file.
The car is currently owned by a marque enthusiast as part of a small collection. Recent work includes an engine overhaul, that full respray, new front and rear screens, refurbished wheels and new tyres all round. The car comes with an advisory-free MOT to August 2025.
This is a great example of one of Ferrari’s most desirable V12 tourers.
