The 1980s saw the Mini defy its masters by continuing to thrive. Sales were still high, the car still iconic...and the Mayfair, as the name would suggest, ruled the roost. This was the top-spec trim, which, while maintaining a rather simplistic approach as you'd expect from the Mini, offered an executive flavour for the rather more well-to-do.
These perky little cars were so fun to drive that they quickly marched up the odometer readings until they rusted or simply were no longer economic to repair. As a result, even for a car that sold so many hundreds of thousands, a good, low mileage example has become rare - something truly special.
This particular 1987 example is exactly that. With just 31,371 miles on the clock and only two registered keepers from new, this Eclipse Blue automatic Mini offers a rare opportunity to own a largely original, low-mileage example of this beloved classic.
