The Appeal
The enduring popularity of the R107 means that despite a steady supply of available cars to buy, values remain robustly strong. And with good reason, these are highly usable roadsters.
If you fancy one of these cars, but want one where you can add value, then this car will likely appeal. It is a low mileage example - less than 94,000 miles is barely run in for a 300SL - and been with the current keeper since 2011. With its factory Champagne gold metallic paintwork, matching hard top, recently fitted brown fabric roof and beige leather interior, it is an attractive car.
The SL Shop has conducted recent maintenance, which includes new injectors and fuel tank, plus servicing and other general repairs. The current MOT runs to July 2025, so it can be driven away, but the buyer will note that a recent test resulted in a fail. This provides transparency for the buyer regarding the work required for the next test.
