The Appeal

With Ducati's air-cooled desmodromic V-twin at its heart, and boasting angular, sporty styling that came to define the marque in the early 1990s, the 900SS was always going to be a hit with the motorcycling public. This 1991 example wears the white frame and wheels with red bodywork - a colour combination offered only for the 1991 and 1992 model years.

In the hands of its current keeper for approximately 12 years, this 900SS has been the subject of a methodical programme to return it to correct factory specification. Mechanical work has included an engine top-end rebuild, renewed ignition components, professionally rebuilt carburettors and a full service by Louigi Moto in 2022.

The vendor describes the bike as being in good condition for everyday use, noting a small dent in the fuel tank and some repaired damage to the fairings. It comes accompanied by both full and half fairings, standard and Monster front mudguards, and the original Ducati mirrors.
