The Appeal
It was under the chairmanship of the dynamically named Victor Gauntlet that Aston Martin first considered developing a “baby Aston.” The idea was sound, to deliver a car that could be sold in all their worldwide markets as a gateway product to the more expensive offerings. When the DB7 finally arrived in 1994 it was well received, looked beautiful and opened up Aston Martin ownership to a wider audience than ever before. As such a milestone car for Aston Martin, the DB7 surely has a promising future as a modern classic of distinction.
This example is a regularly used and enjoyed example, and all the better for it. The current enthusiast owner has diligently cared for and maintained this example with Aston Martin Works in Newport Pagnell only trusted with the upkeep in his care. The result is a charmingly, original example in a fine overall condition.EAveXxcebi9ahAPZ89NGrUNQIYTK01zMHUMs7i5T.jpg917.58 KB

In Aston Martin terms the DB7 it was a huge success with over 7,000 units going on to be sold, making it by far the most ubiquitous Aston Martin ever. Despite that, relative, ubiquity those in the know are starting to appreciate the appeal of the DB7 six-cylinder version. Despite the reduced cylinder count this is a powerful and muscular car complete with appealing supercharger whine. Its current value for money proposition certainly won’t last forever. Whilst it does, however, it offers a fine entrée to Aston Martin ownership at a surprisingly attainable price point.
Our example offers a great colourway and boasts a fine and original overall condition to boot. The Aston Martin Works maintenance record is hard to fault too and should provide the lucky new owner with the ultimate reassurance in terms of the longevity and enjoyment still available from this lovely DB7.
