Highlights
- Classic British Racing Green supercharged Jaguar
- Only two previous keepers
- Factory standard 400bhp super saloon
- Reported to be in full working order
- MOT to October 2025
The Appeal
The X308 XJR was the last of a particular sort of simple, straightforward and classically styled RWD super Jags. With 400bhp on tap it was a fitting riposte to the less characterful M5 and a fitting update to those S-Types beloved of London’s 60s underworld.
Fittingly finished in British Racing Green, this early XJR has had just two previous keepers and is pleasingly factory-standard and unmodified. Looking much like a regular X308, save for some bigger wheels and discreet badges, it is virtually the legal definition of ‘sleeper.’
These modern classic Jaguars are increasingly in demand with enthusiasts and this one looks very usable. The vendor reports that everything works and it comes to market with MOT to October 2025.
The vendor says:
“It's very comfortable and has plenty of power and will definitely provide the next owner with enjoyment for years to come.”
