The Appeal
The 916 Spider was the last time that Alfa Romeo’s superlative ‘Busso’ V6 appeared in an Alfa Romeo open-top car. With few produced in RHD, these are rare and rather special finds for Alfisti and lovers of sonorous open-top sports cars.
This low mileage ‘Phase 2’ V6 looks very pretty in dark blue metallic with ‘Lusso’ tan leather interior. It is a very well kept car that reflects the low mileage and the extensive history file. All of the recent work has been entrusted to specialist Autolusso, including suspension rebuild, roof refurbishment, cambelt and servicing. The last service was in October last year.
The vendor describes the car as not far off concours, and the photographs tend to point in that direction. It is a well kept car that presents nicely across the usual 916 check areas. The MOT runs to October 2025 so it is ready to jump in and enjoy.
