The Appeal
Some specifications suit the 997’s character well, and the firm’s Tiptronic is definitely one of them. This sequential auto, now a standard feature for modern sports cars, access the 911’s relaxing and raging demeanours to suit your mood. Because not every day is a Nordschliefe day.
Finished in very attractive dark blue with matching blue leather cabin, this 997.1 adds the firm’s all wheel drive system and clever Targa roof to that Tiptronic box. The roof retains the coupe profile to deliver classic looks with panoramic glass or open roof motoring. Plus the added benefit of a practical hatchback load area.
With just 35,000 miles from new and full Porsche service history to 30,000 miles, this is a very sparingly used and well preserved car. Further recent work includes replacing the crossover pipes and vacuum pump, which was done in August 2024.
Tyre choice is always a useful indicator of the keepers’ expenditure and this car sits on quality Pirelli PZeros all round. With MOT to January 2026, this looks like a great car for a summer road trip.
The vendor says:
“It’s been a joy to drive, you cannot beat the power the rear-mounted engine gives you. It’s a real head turner!”
