The Appeal

Successor to the 3 series compact, BMW’s 1 series launched in 2004 aiming to introduce a entry-level, subcompact option to the executive car market. Praised for its nimble handling and handsome looks, the first generation was available in a range of body styles and later manifested into the highly respected 1M.

Rarely do we reference 16 year old cars being close to new condition but this certainly breaks the mould. In top order throughout this is as close to a showroom condition example as you’ll likely be able to find. Collectors item or something lovely for the summer, this is the one to have. The Condition

‘Tahiti’ Green Metallic looks original and in top order - minor scratches to the lower back bumper
Black convertible soft top appears very smart and the electric fold-away operation is swift and fuss free. Annual ‘Supaguard’ treatments of the roof fabric appear to have helped keep the roof in excellent order
x4 matching Continental ‘Premium Contact’ tyres fitted in 2021 at 10,225 miles. The last service at BMW noted 7.5mm tread depth across the full width of all four tyres
Original 16” V-spoke alloy wheels are all in good order
Our photographer reported the car still smells new!
Includes rear compartment BMW wind deflector
The seats and door cards all look in superb original condition. There are a couple of small marks on the front seats but all dash components, carpets and touch points otherwise look virtually ‘as new’
The front footwell carpets have been well protected by genuine BMW fitted rubber mats, which themselves are still in impressive condition The boot compartment show signs the car has been cared for and used sparingly
