The Appeal
What Land Rover starts, certain well-regarded specialists complete. For those who want the ‘ultimate’ Defender where money is - almost - no object, there is Centurion.
The firm built just 10 Arctic Edition models and this one was the first. The specification is, without exaggeration, jaw-dropping and covers the equipment you need to literally go anywhere plus luxury accoutrements to make getting there altogether more pleasant.
Naturally finished in Arctic White with Santorini trim and panoramic limousine rear glass, this Defender looks as good as it goes. The trick when buying an elevated Defender is to find one that has all the kit but hasn’t really been put to work. That way you get all the upsides without the downside of deterioration through usage. This example has been driven but the condition strongly indicates it hasn’t seen hard work.
