The Appeal
Upon announcement that Ford would be making a limited edition Bullitt package Mustang for 2019 the European RHD allocation sold out in a couple of weeks, despite the Euro spec being down on horsepower power and top speed (453hp and 163mph). The Seller of this Bullitt Mustang was living in Naples Florida at the time, and went to his local dealership to order one, but the Dealer wasn’t aware of its existence!
A short time later the Seller took delivery of his Special Order Bullitt to which he had added nearly every option. With the full US spec 480hp V8, switchable driver modes and active suspension the Mustang has a top speed of over 165mph. A quick glance through the accompanying options list and window sticker demonstrates that this car is far more than just a fancy dress up package; it’s a real performance monster, designed to be comfortable on the street and highly capable on track.

The vendor used the Mustang for a few longer trips in Florida, including driving down to the Keys and Miami before moving back to the UK in 2022.
The Mustang came too, with all taxes paid and all the import paperwork on file. UK registered it has been driven a few hundred miles since, and he is reluctantly offering for sale as he no longer has space to keep it.

It remains in immaculate condition, virtually new in every respect. It looks stunning and sounds epic; we can only describe it as..awesome! We would know this too, as we owned one!

The interior remains in as new condition with no visible wear, unsurprising on such a low mileage car. The Ebony black leather is soft and comfortable with subtle green stitching to match the exterior. The LCD instruments and 12 inch touch screen all appear to function correctly. In addition there is the optional gauge pack with oil pressure and vacuum gauges.
The carpets are all as new, protected by additional rubber mats with Mustang logos. The aluminium door sill plates with Bullitt logos are unmarked. The fold down rear seats have never been used, and the boot space is clean with no damage to the sill or the smart grey carpet.

The Exterior

Resplendent in unmarked and shiny Highland Green metallic paint the Mustang looks spectacular from any angle. Mean, purposeful and effortlessly powerful it attracted plenty of admirers whilst we took the photographs. The Torque Thrust style wheels suit the Mustang well and all four and in perfect condition, with lightly worn Michelin Pilot Sport tyres. The glass is all unmarked and the LED lights all appear to function correctly. The photographs speak for themselves; the exterior is in superb condition.

With 480 hp the seller tells us that the Mustang is extremely powerful and fast but can be driven gently and has a nice comfortable ride and good manners. The optional MagneRide adaptive suspension system works well and in Road setting is soft and forgiving. When combined with the tall six gear and huge torque it makes for effortless long distance cruising. The Mustang has received plenty of servicing both in the US and once here in the UK, the last oil and filter change being less than 50 miles ago.
It is as tidy underneath as it is on top and with less than 8,000 miles covered from new it is barely “run in”. Mechanically it remains in superb condition.
Summary
This exclusive Bullitt edition Mustang is virtually a new car. With comprehensive serving and so few miles it remains in excellent condition throughout. Highly optioned from new it wants for nothing, and this is a particularly reluctant sale. “It breaks my heart” the Seller tells us, but he’d rather sell than leave it parked outside or long term stored. This is a rare car, especially this side of the Atlantic, and the top of the range Mustang with every option. We agree with Classic and Sports Car magazine; we think this is a real “Future Classic”.
