The Volkswagen Karmann Ghia is a car that warms the heart. Its voluptuous low-slung curves and simple Beetle underpinnings make it a stylish, reliable and much sought-after classic.
This beautiful 1968 example is a low owner, low mileage car imported from Gemany several decades ago and has recently received a full photographic restoration to a very high standard by VW specialists, Emilio’s Beetles.
Finished in Gazelle beige, the bodywork is exceptional having been completely stripped back and the paint quality is stunning. The heating channels were also replaced at this time.
The interior received the same attention and has been professionally retrimmed in black with cream piping, and the head cloth was also replaced.
During the restoration the engine and gearbox were also overhauled and the car is a delight to drive.
Presented with photographic restoration documents, and years of service receipts, this is an excellent opportunity for anyone who is looking for a ready to go Karmann with all the major works already completed.
