1970 Volvo 1800 E
This 1970 Volvo P1800E is in good original condition. The car has the desirable white over red color combination. The starts easily, drives great and has just had a brake inspection and adjustment. The beautiful red leather interior, with original luggage straps, is very clean with some expected wear to the driver’s seat but no splits or busted seams. The car has been sitting on flat tires for 8 years but surprisingly, they inflated fine and are holding proper air pressure. Car has a nice aftermarket radio with cassette player and speakers. The car is a great driver, and is suitable for a full restoration, or it can be enjoyed as is for many years to come.
The car is in original mechanical condition and retains is original Volvo 4-cylinder Bosch D-Jetronic fuel injected 2. 0-liter B20E engine making 130hp. The car has its original 4-speed manual transmission.
The 1970 model was the first 1800 with four-wheel disc brakes; until then the 1800 series had front discs and rear drums.
