Bentley 3 ½ litre “Bologna” Special, year 1934. Chassis number B183AE, engine number 03B21. Colour black combined with a black interior fitted with red leather bucket seats. Black mohair soft top and tonneau cover. This Bentley motorcar was originally built in the Bentley ‘Derby’ factory and sold new in the U. K. The chassis and engine are still a factory original match. In the past the old bodywork was removed and exchanged for the current special “Bologna” two-seater bodywork with a very impressive, ultra long, bonnet length. The conversion was executed by a specialist in the U. K., photos of the restoration and modification are present in the extensive history file. After the rebuild this Bentley became a renowned automobile amongst vintage Bentley owners and in the British vintage rally car scene. Amongst others, the automobile has participated in the 2019 and 2023 Shamrock Vintage Challenge. Recently the car was brought up to date by the British specialist Fiennes. The extensive service and updates mounted up to a total of over 50. 000 pounds. This impressive Bentley 3 ½ litre “Bologna” Special is in a very good and wonderful condition. The special was built beautifully and it was maintained perfectly over the years. The extensive history/ restoration/ service file is complete, and it contains the names of many previous owners.
