The Plus

The M635i represents the work of an automotive marque at the top of its game. Combining the clean lines designed by Paul Bracq, including the 'shark-nose' front end, balanced and tactile handling, and the sublime 285bhp M88 in-line six-cylinder engine, it is one of the best 2+2 cars of the last 40 years, regardless of price or make.

So it's not surprising that good examples are highly sought after. This car is one of the best we've seen recently, thanks to a complete body, paint and mechanical restoration by a Paris-based BMW specialist.

The car looks in excellent condition from the photos and, according to the vendor, drives just as well, with a rebuilt gearbox and engine working perfectly. Significantly, it is unmodified from its original condition and has a valid MOT. This is a superb example of a car that is becoming increasingly popular with collectors.
