The AEC Mammoth Major was, as the name suggests, the largest of Southall's legendary commercials. Built with endurance befitting of a locomotive and one of the company's much-loved, muscular straight-sixes under its distinctive tin cab. These machines soon peppered the country and beyond, often carrying heavy machinery and construction materials.

This 1951 example of the Mammoth Major comes to us in a fine state of preservation following an older restoration, and boasts a very impressive Brunswick colour scheme, with evocative signwriting and a contrasting red grille. It's a very original machine, too, from what we can discern - a truly impressive classic commercial that's bound to attract plenty of attention.
