The Appeal
Bodied by the prestigious Carrozzeria Vignale, the Lancia Appia Vignale Convertibles were produced in extremely limited numbers, and they sit amongst the most in-demand cars in Lancia's repertoire. This 1960 example, finished in deep Lancia Blue, is a fabulous ambassador. That Italian flair is proudly on display from top to bottom, and it boasts a remarkable character.
This particular Appia has benefited from an older full restoration by a former leading member of the Auto Restoration Owners Club, ensuring work was completed to a high standard. Having been in the current ownership since 2012, the car has clearly been cherished, with recent significant investment of £12,000 in mechanical refurbishment to ensure it's ready and waiting to return to the road. Having been stored in a heated barn for the past 7 years, the car remains in good running condition, ready for its next enthusiast owner.
