Why it's interesting

With the arrival of the Fiat 126, the 500 range was rationalised, making this 'Lusso' example one of the last built. It has only had three owners throughout its long life, with the current one adding it to his collection in 2024.

The previous owner bought it in 2009 and undertook a complete restoration that was respectful of the originality, as can be seen in the white paintwork in excellent condition. Wisely, he left the well-preserved interior intact, with original black vinyl upholstery and period carpeting, which is now unavailable.

At the back, the car has been fitted with a 650cc engine derived from the Fiat 126, which gives this cute city car more verve.

This pretty 500 remained stationary between 2018 and 2024, stored in the dry. After purchase, the current owner carried out a check-up and a complete mechanical overhaul. Recent work includes a complete service with spark plug replacement, carburettor and distributor overhaul, as well as work on the brake system.

The car is in good overall condition and retains many valuable original features. It is offered on the market with original number plates and documents, plus the peace of mind of an overhaul valid until October 2026.
