The Appeal
The T2 is the archetypal classic camper. The continuation Brazilian-built models add modern usability, reliability and economy, without sacrificing the character that makes these vans so compelling.
This T2 was built in 2009 and subsequently professionally converted to a camper. It shows under 19,000 miles from new, which the vendor states is correct, although we haven’t verified it. It features a full width rock and roll bed and custom wooden finishes throughout — including flooring, panelling, cupboards, and drawers — along with a kitchen area fitted with a stainless-steel sink and hob. Modern touches include USB charging points, Bluetooth audio, and remote-controlled LED lighting.Out the back is a reliable 1.4L 4cyl engine.
We are told that in recent years the paint has received a full correction treatmentand that the clutch was replaced 2,000 miles ago. The MOT runs to October 2026 with no advisories.
The previous keeper acquired it in 2014, retaining it for 10 years and garaging it in dry storage throughout. Smartly presented and with a high spec, this T2 Brazil is ready for summer trips.
