1981 Corvette C3 project car. Running and driving late model C3 Corvette, imported from New York state, USA. 74. 000 mls, dark blue exterior with light grey interior.
The body is straight and the paint shows no major cracks or signs of repair work. It will need to be repainted, as the current finish is of inferior quality. Solid and straight chassis, with only minor surface rust.
Original interior, in need of renovation. Some trim has been removed, but the car appears to be complete (parts pictured on our website).
Mechanically, this Corvette leaves a good impression. The car starts up easily, runs nicely and picks up quickly. It is very loud however, because of a leaking fron exhaust pipe. Someone with good intentions and bad ideas painted the entire engine bay black at some point. Expect to give this car at least a thorough service and maintenance check up (hoses, gaskets, filters and other service parts), combined with a fair amount of detailing.
Great project that can easily be turned into an excellent C3.
