1975 Ford Granada 3. 0 V6 Ghia Coupe Automatic. Arizona Gold with Black leather upholstery and a black vinyl roof. Originally registered on 9th June 1975, this very rare Ford Granada Ghia Coupé has been part of a 15 year restoration project and as such, presents in lovely condition throughout. The bronze coachwork is a great colour of the period and the diamond stitched black leather trim, whilst not standard fitment, has been done tastefully and is in keeping with the rest of the car. Open the bonnet and it is blatantly apparent the amount of work that has gone into restoring this Granada. Crank the key and the familiar roar of a 3. 0 litre Essex engine is a gentle reminder of what a superb car this was, taking into account it is 46 years old. The Ford Granada is certainly evocative for men of a certain age. Absolutely everything was new or reconditioned throughout, and completed to a high standard. The panels are completely straight and true with great panel gaps, the paint is superb and completed to an excellent standard, new vinyl roof, rechromed bumpers, trim and rubbers where necessary. The underside is as good as the rest of the car, it’s beautifully clean as has only seen dry roads since completion. The interior has been completely re-upholstered with new diamond stitched leather seats, new carpet, new door cards and new headlining. The wheels have been refurbished and are pristine with new tyres The engine and gearbox completely overhauled, new water pump, alternator, radiator etc. There’s just too much to list, every bit of the car has been addressed. The car starts first turn of the key. It sounds beautiful, drives superbly with ample power, handles very well indeed and stops effectively.
